Uniforms
We have our own dancewear shop at our Kenmore Studio's and sell all the requirements listed below, we also stock crossovers, skirts and accessories. Ballet is a visual art and the discipline of good grooming is essentially part of ballet training. Creative Dance & ToddlersGirls Uniform is not compulsory for tiny tots, but we do recommend they wear a pink leotard and skirt, and they may wear pink ballet shoes. We stock very reasonably priced beginner ballet shoes. Boys Black or navy shorts, white T-Shirt Prep Dance, Pre-Primary, & PrimaryGirls Our uniform for girls consists of a pink leotard with our school logo on the chest. Socks or tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic. Hair should be neat and off the face. Boys White T.Shirt and black or navy bike pants or shorts. White socks and ballet shoes Grade 1 UpwardGirls Uniform for girls consists of a leotard in the Class colour with our school logo on the chest, ballet tights, pink ballet shoes with elastic. Hair should be neat and off the face. Grade 1 to 5 also need a black character skirt and shoes. Boys White T.Shirt or boys leotard, black or navy stirrup tights, White socks and ballet shoes Jazz & TapGirls & Boys Red top with our school logo on chest, black bootleg or 3/4 pants, and tan split sole Jazz shoes , or tan tap shoes. Hip HopGirls & Boys Sayers Polo Shirt, own black stretch pants (no Jeans) or Jazz Pants, Sneakers with a light sole or Jazz shoes or socks. |
“My training at Sayers Dance Centre was so important to how I became a professional dancer today. Apart from injecting an absolute love of dance in me from the age of 7, I quickly learnt that a career in dance could take me all around the world, and be the most challenging and rewarding pathway I could ever have chosen.
