The Sayers Dance Centre aims each year to employ as many Advanced students as possible in their teacher training program.

Trainees always work together with the school's qualified teachers to gain skills which they might be able to use in their own schools in the future. They must be of Advanced standard to become trainee teachers.
The centre often employs past students who graduate and qualify as teachers to ensure that their successful teaching methods continue for the next generation of dancers. This keeps the high standards and successes repeating over the years with qualified, dedicated, and professional teachers.

“My time at Sayers Dance Centre was the foundation of my Dance training. The wonderful, encouraging teachers ensured that my technique was sound. I have now started my own company 'Performing Arts Workshops' in Melbourne and I still teach as an artist in residence in schools around Melbourne. My time at Sayers Dance Centre was the foundation for my love of Dance which continues today. My first contact with Dance was at this school as a 5 yr. Old and I have enjoyed a lifetime love of Dance and have been able to achieve my goals and make a living from Dance. Thank you Sayers Dance Centre.”

“My time at Sayers Dance Centre provided me with the most important foundational years of my career. I was fortunate to experience Sayers care, supportiveness and professionalism as a student and a teacher, learning performance skills, technique and life lessons from wonderful teachers and role models. Vivianne, Nadine and other studio staff became a second family and I am extremely grateful for all their guidance and direction, and for the colourful memories of dancing for them and teaching with them.”
